At the American Physician Scientist Association (APSA), I serve as the co-chair of the technology committee. I manage APSA's website and YouTube channel.
I am the APSA representative for the Southern region, organizing the 2025 APSA South Regional Conference at Baylor College of Medicine.
I'm also a peer mentor that advises undergrads who are interested in physician-scientist careers. This includes reviewing CVs, personal statements, MCAT preparation, and research guidance.
I volunteer at the student-run HOMES Clinic in downtown Houston to provide medical care for Houston's homeless population. I'm currently a manager for HOMES Clinic to help coordinate volunteer activities.
During the past year, I helped create ophthalmology volunteering at HOMES Clinic, where students can help physicians perform eye exams.
I provide free vision screenings and hand out glasses for Houston's homeless youth population through OpenGate Homeless Ministries. This helps refer people to optometrists or ophthalmologists for eye care.
I participate in the student operating committee at Baylor College of Medicine's medical scientist training program (MSTP). I help interview MD/PhD applicants, lead group discussions, and organize second look activities.
I am currently working with APSA to host the 2025 APSA South Regional Conference at Baylor.
I founded the University of Washington (UW) Pre-Physician Scientist Club for undergrads interested in exploring careers that combine research and medicine. Currently, I serve as an alumni leader.
