Thanks for stopping by. My name is Daniel. I can usually be found biking on roads, gravel, or occasionally down a mountain. When I can't get outside, I love tinkering with computers and building projects like this website.
I am currently an MD-PhD student at Baylor College of Medicine's MSTP program. I have interests in genetics, epigenetics, and retinal degenerative disease. My dream job involves diagnosing genetic blinding diseases and treating them using personalized gene therapies and regenerative medicine approaches.
Feel free to reach out to me if you want to talk about science, mentorship, or outdoor activities. Potential science collaborators or biking partners are welcome to message me or follow me on social media.
